This is the march from which my old high school got its fight song. I’ve played it through a few times, but I haven’t touched it in years. Also I had played the cornet part back then, and I just got the trumpet part. There are a few differences, but nothing too complex.
I’ll probably make a YouTube video of me playing.

Don’t tell them about slide cream or it’ll go downhill even faster.

Lol we should, and we should get someone proficient on the Rock Band drums.

Record the cornet part on the cornet, and the trumpet part on the trumpet. Then mix the two together. Then, get the other parts, and play them. Then mix all of them together, so you’re playing ALL the parts.

I’ll probably eliminate the long pauses by adding in transposed versions of other parts that have the main melody at those parts. I like the trumpet part too, it’s more playful.

You mean the IT-ISN’T-CHAPSTICK?

Yeah actually with this crowd I'm kinda picturing those drum synthesizers you find in the clearance toy aisle at Target. You work with what you have.

What do you play?
Bonus: Post all the musical projects!

Holy crap, that’s my HS alma mater’s fight song, too! (Alamogordo HS, Alamogordo NM)
To be fair, it was likely poached shamelessly from Stanford. Everyone thinks that All Right Now is Stanford’s official fight song, but it’s more like their unofficial fight song, while New Colonial March is the traditional one.
I always looked forward to the end-of-year concert in high school, because we got to play the REAL New Colonial March instead of the watered-down-and-sped-up marching band version. A lot of it had to do with the really awesome bass clarinet parts in the first and second strain, which originally doubled those monster euphonium countermelodies. New editions now have the bass clarinet parts doubling the tubas all the way through, and it’s a tragedy of the highest order, I tell you.
Man, I just went all grouchy-old-man on my high school fight song. *shakes fist, looks for something to chase off the lawn*

Interesting, because usually the cornet parts are better because the cornet was the melodic instrument.

Yeah the trumpet part has all the cool bits.

In case you were wondering what it sounds like. I’m not that good at it . . . . yet.
